1. Information We Collect

When you use LoveVault, we collect the following information:

• Account Information: Your name and email address when you register.
• Photos: Photos you choose to upload are stored securely on Cloudinary.
• Messages: Chat messages between you and your partner are stored in Firebase Firestore.
• Device Information: Device token for sending push notifications via OneSignal.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the LoveVault app experience (photos, chat, couple connect).
• To send push notifications when your partner sends you a message.
• To save your dark mode preference on your device.
• To show ads via Google AdMob to keep the app free.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

• Firebase (Google): Used for authentication and database storage.
• Cloudinary: Used for storing photos.
• OneSignal: Used for push notifications.
• Google AdMob: Used to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad personalization.

4. Data Security

Your data is protected using Firestore Security Rules. Only you and your connected partner can access your shared data. No other user can read your photos or messages.

5. Photos

Photos you upload are stored on Cloudinary servers. You can delete your photos at any time from within the app. Deleted photos are permanently removed from our storage.

6. Children's Privacy

LoveVault is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.

7. Ads (Google AdMob)

LoveVault uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use cookies and device identifiers to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings under Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

8. Your Rights

• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
• You can delete any photo from within the app.
• You can request a copy of your data by contacting us.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data including photos and messages will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
